Are you looking at Mt Hopetoun from somewhere near Thwaites Plateau?
Sat 23 Nov, 2019 2:27 pm
Nah not in that area...
Sat 23 Nov, 2019 5:21 pm
Crest range from the Ironbounds?
Sat 23 Nov, 2019 5:51 pm
Much closer but not the crest range

Looking at the Provis Hills from [edit - not Mt Louisa] - the Ironbound Range?
Sun 24 Nov, 2019 12:15 am
That's it eggs. Provide hills from the ironbound high point

Anyone can go next

No takers. The two I have in the other photo games are going nowhere, might as well make it a hat trick:
- Below the Sentinel Range, Southwest NP via Maydena

Well, it's in the same broad part of the world Tortoise, but probably more than 15 km away as the crow flies.

That mix of button grass and wildflowers reminds me of the Western Arthurs in December. And that fits with the distance from Mt Anne Circuit. But I haven't been in there for a long time and my memory ain't good enough to pin it down any further than that.

Not the Western Arthurs Nik, getting colder. But it was taken at the end of December, albeit back in 2012.

It has a similar look up there, but no.

No, but very close.

Good enough Mark. I'm on that patch between the car park and the climb up the range, looking WSW-ish. Over to you.

Near Mt van Dyke?
Wed 27 Nov, 2019 6:09 am
It looks like that sort of rock, doesn't it? But no, nowhere near the Fosseys. You'd have to buzz off quite a distance too get there.
Wed 27 Nov, 2019 7:05 am
I haven't been there, but just going by the clue, and searching on LIST Map... is it The Beehive?
Or perhaps that's The Beehive in the middle distance. Which would put you on or near the Linda Track (which I've never even heard of before). If so, then I guess that could be Gell/Hippogriff in the background?
Wed 27 Nov, 2019 7:25 am
It is on the side of the Beehive, but looking over Arrowsmith to the King Willies. Over to you, SoaB.

Thanks... close-ish, I guess.
Where was I for this photo. Bonus points if you can get it without looking at the linked video from which it was taken. The video makes it rather obvious towards the end.
A Hundred Bottles video (7 MB) (Yes, they did sing it all the way from a hundred to zero. It was irritating, but it kept them walking.)
- A Hundred Bottles of Coke - Arm River Track, near Lake Ayr
