What else is there to do on a rainy Sunday morning?
Note: I'm going to be picky about this one. This specific spot has a name.

The Monkeys from Tasman Island?
Sun 12 Jul, 2020 11:57 am
No, but you are in the right NP.

Cape Raoul from the second lookout which is a bit east from the first .

Since they flashed up the track, the lookouts now have names. The highly imaginative Cape Lookout and Seal Lookout. As you can see from the evidence left, this is the latter, although Guano Lookout might be more appropriate.
Over to you, eggs.

I did not know about the lookout names, it is still on my to do list.
Keeping with the idea - the name of this please..

The Trident from the Oasis lookout?
Mon 13 Jul, 2020 11:07 pm
We saw it from several vantage points - so I am not sure which one this was - but Yes, this is the Trident near Cape Pillar

Everyone is a bit guarded on giving an answer?
Wed 15 Jul, 2020 1:46 am
This earlier reminded me of the Sentinel Range and I dismissed it, but eggs' comment has made me reconsider.
Wed 15 Jul, 2020 6:52 am
Not the Sentinels John though I see the similarity in profiles.

That would be Gould from the Guardians, thanks Eggs. I just can't figure out exactly where on the Guardians - can't get my pics to line up.
Wed 15 Jul, 2020 8:53 am
Yes Tort of course it is.
On the northern end not far from the summit.

Lake seal lookout with the unexplained cleft on the far rock face?
Thu 16 Jul, 2020 9:25 am
Yep, that crack always grabs my attention. It's huge.
Thu 16 Jul, 2020 10:51 am
Sure is. The guy who took my basic geology course said no one was 100% certain exactly what created it.
This shouldn't be hard.

Thu 16 Jul, 2020 2:06 pm
Lesser peak?? Not sure I should give it to you for that tortie....it has a name you know!! Hehe
Nah take it way. Its from the summit of Manfreds Heel.
Thu 16 Jul, 2020 2:51 pm
Humble apologies to Mr Heel. Shame he keeps so silent on maps. Looking forward to visiting him one day, though!
Next one shouldn't be too hard either:

Hmm, maybe the ~800 m bump below it to the NW (looks like those old trails go close by)?
Or Tim Shea? Although the angle doesn't look right.

Wrong directions, and I'm after a Bigger Bump nearby, which we were part-way up.
