Yes, that's it. A very rewarding little ramble, out to the eastern high point of Albert. Out over all of the eastern high points to the highest . . .

I feel like I'm nicking it from you, tigercat, cos you did all the work. But hey, I don't get 'em very often, so here's a rather different one. I'll only find out if you can see it once I post it, so may need to repost it soon.
PS i'm looking forward to doing a NE peak when I can see something! Victoria and Albert are highest on my NE list.

The Abels are all short and mostly easy walks, the best being Saddleback, Victoria & Ben Nevis (when the weather co-operates)(and excluding the Ben Lomond stuff). Albert isn't in their class, but a pleasant surprise and a good little track. And there is a marked route out to the eastern summit.

Here's the view from Ben Nevis last weekend - which was by far the best visibility I've had yet on NE Abels.

Beats the conditions I had the first time I went up it. 30 knot winds, sleet, thicker fog . . . still not sure why I bothered, but the points (and just keeping moving) mattered more at that time than the views.
