If it's the ridge that leads to Tramontane, you'd be on High Dome or Castle or even Eldon Bluff. Ahhhhh, no it's the highpoint north of the one west of High Dome which, given the bit of scrub in the foreground, probably means you're on Castle. Not that I can tell from experience - my view from up there was never more than 10 metres.
edit: no, that doesn't work either, High Dome would be in the way. On one of the Hills?

Camp? I think that might be the ridge northwest of Rocky. Foreground fits, too.

And if anyone lost the buckle off their Sea to Summit gaiters up there, I have it. Found it on a pad just under the summit.

Denison Crag?

I thought it could have been Martin's. Did you get to Camp on your trip out there?

Yeah, knocked off everything except Tramontane. Was a good trip - except the *&%$#! scrub out to Camp and Last. Picked very bad lines.

No, not Denison Crags. Right area, wrong detail.

Might be heading out towards Ossians Throne with Hamilton Crags in view. I noticed a few buildings on the LHS.

Ossians Throne it is, on the ridge north of the highest point. Some nice rocks up there.

The angular shapes of the Dolerite are very pronounced there.

Looking north from Mt Tyndall

A little east of Mt Tyndall looking over Lake Plimsoll and Julia Peak and beyond to Murchison?

That's right Osik, though I consider the top of Tyndall as somewhat extended. The old trig pole was just off the LHS of this photo, but about the same height.

Thanks eggs. I'd agree with you that the top of Tyndall is more of a plateau rather a particular highpoint. I probably should have been more exact as I've been up there a couple of times and the whole plateau is definitely one of my favourite places in Tassie. I also remember thinking what a great (and terrifying) mountaineering route that razorback would be.

It is Nerues, but where is Green Bluff? I thought that was on Maria Island!

I've heard people refer to the intermediate lump between Macs and Nereus as Green Bluff, Don't know if it's an official name or not. Of course, you could always be zooming in from Macs itself. This bit:
