I have not been to either for ages, but the red fine pebbles are a strong recollection. I nearly came to grief sliding on them on the ascent of the Crinoline from Long Spur, and the descent to the river to the east was tres steep. This pic is in South Australia. As before, don't believe the file name ... A clue: Moscow Peak is about a month or two of walking to the east.

I'll start it off with a wild stab at Wildflower Creek, Vulkathunha/Gammon Ranges NP. Which particular bit? Don't know, but it looks vaguely familiar. It's certainly not Mt Alfred.

Not Italowie, although it's near a place with the same number of syllables.

Eggs, correct. Quite hot that day it was and yet when we climbed out of the Pound the next day there was ice at one point near the rim.

Thanks eggs. I haven't made it to Hallet Cove yet (I have always been under time pressure to get to Victor Harbour), but one day I will.

This one is in New South Wales. The name of the lagoon would be good.

Fairly wild guess here but it looks a little like Wattamola in RNP (went fishing there recently but didn't get this view)

Sorry, it's not Wattamolla. And it's not anywhere south of Sydney.

Familiar looking shape but it's just a guess - Mt Hay? Maybe taken from somewhere in the Wollangambe region, or an eastern part of the Grose?

Yep, Mt Hay (from Browns Ridge).

That went quicker than I thought - was setting up for a cryptic clue based on the filename and reference to a pink ostrich :-)

Thanks jonnosan, OK I wasn't too far out with the viewpoint. But I don't know that a pink ostrich would have helped me with the answer :).

Staying in NSW. Looking for the foreground feature/s, what I'm standing on. Bonus point for anything else:

Is that the view from Melville's Lookout (Mt Solitary), with Korrowall Ridge in the middle, then Kings Tableland and bit of Lake Burragorang in the background?

Yes, from Solitary looking over Korrowall Ridge/Point Repulse to Kings Tableland with a tiny patch of L Burragorang on the right. From memory not from Melvilles, which is fairly close to Chinamans Gully, though similar outlook. We had walked through there then continued further across the top. There was an informal campsite at this spot and I think we bushbashed briefly for this view. Yours again jonnosan.

My research indicates the rock formation in the picture is informally known as 'Southerly Rams Head'. The 'official' South Rams Head is a KM or so further south. But well done to GBW.

Tyreless - looks like you missed a trig. Something for next time :-)
