Got there.
Lake Carragh is a wonderful lake set in the mountains just NW from Killarney.

Looks nice. I hitch-hiked around the Ring of Kerry in 1980 - don't remember much now except a rowdy night around a piano in a Killarney pub.

Moving to USA...

Thanks Tyreless. We only called in there briefly, not enough time for snorkelling but lots of people were in the water doing just that.

That's it Graham, I think it's been in the game before. Nice spot on one of those little micro-side trips on the road to Milford Sound.

That was a generous clue Graham. Immediately I started hearing the earworm lyrics of the Eagles Take it Easy - "Well, I'm a-standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona, Such a fine sight to see...". I think this is likely the Barringer Meteor Crater near there.

Thanks Graham. Let's head to the South Pacific. I'm looking for the name of the prominent mountain in the background.

Time for some clues. I am at one of two major sea ports in this small-ish country frequently visited by Aussies. The mountain is in a national/heritage park and seems to have two native names and an English one. I will accept any of those or the name of the NP as the answer.

Yes that's it wayno. I'm in the port of Lautoka and the peak is either Mt Koroyanitu (Mt Evans) or Mt Batilamu. I believe there is a hike to the summit but you need to have a guide. Possibly related more to providing employment than due to difficulty, but I haven't been up there (yet).
