Looks like greater Nelson region but I've only done Nelson Lakes area, and this doesn't remind me of anywhere there (could be somewhere on Robert Ridge I suppose but don't think so)

I thought one of the peaks in the first picture might have been Mt Arthur. Now I think that is where you are.

Thanks Wayno
The plateau view makes more sense now. It is an area that I would love to get to... maybe one day..

There are 2 islands in this view - Name of one will do.

Main island is Waya with Wayasewa behind, Yasawa Islands, Fiji

Right country John.
But the bigger island in view is about a quarter that size - though it rises to about the same heights.

Malalo is the correct side of Viti Levu and right adjacent to where we chilled out for 4 days, but Malalo only approaches 200m height, whereas you are going plus 400m for the island in question.

Waya Island looks like it might fit eggs. Which means the other one would be Wayasewa?

Yes John.
We took a relaxing ride on the Yasawa Explorer which took us right up past the chain of islands and resorts and then came back the same way.
Waya Island was the standout for rugged features.

That's the one Orion. Currently dormant, unlike its cousin on the big island presently threatening a violent eruption. Your turn.

No eruption there but the scenery was superior to Kilauea, at least I thought so.
Did you see the Nene while you were there?

I really enjoyed both volcanoes, for different reasons. Yes I did have a Nene encounter lower down on Haleakala (photo posted some time ago in the game - this is not a game photo)

Nice shot, but what's a "game photo"?

And yes, that's Pichincha.

Comment added so that people don't think it's the current game photo to be guessed.

Correct MM, and I think that is the Eugenie Glacier and stream below the Footstool, with Hayter and Stewart Glaciers off to the right.
