Righto, thanks John.
Hopefully this isn't too obscure, but name the park I am in here, and for bonus points, the name of the waterfall (USA again).

Righto time for a clue. The park is New Mexico , and is better known for containing remnants of ancient Native American settlements

South Island. View is from a lighthouse walk. Bit of a gem - but most eyes are in the other direction.

Thanks eggs. I haven't been that far south, will aim to do it on a future trip.

Let's stay with the wet NZ theme. Where was I on this miserable afternoon?

Looking at nztopo it could be Mt Bealey wayno, but I won't bet my lunch money. We stopped in Arthurs Pass village for lunch and I was standing under an awning to get out of the rain. Looks like it would be worth staying a couple of days and doing some walks in good weather. All yours.

Looking up the valley at Lauterbrunnen...from somewhere on the walk heading over to grindelwald etc? Not quite sure of where the photo is taken from without looking at a map

I was only after Lauterbrunnen valley.
Probably from the Schynege Platte walk. But the train via Wengen also looks into this valley.

PS - just checked and this is from the train through Wengen

Hmmm maybe time for a clue. This is a well known spot on the backpacking circuit in central America, and an interesting geological feature.

This was a short walk to a rough lookout point over a Lough on a loop out of Killarney.
I am after the name of the Lough

A bit slow eggs. Not 100% confident but I'll try Lough Leane.

p.s. If correct anyone can go next. I'm in the bush until Monday evening.

Not the Lough next to Killarney - though it is worth going down to Ross Castle on its shores.

I should have noted that the loop out of Killarney was done by car - so we had parked before going on the short walk.
A big hint is the significant ocean view on the RHS.

So I'm guessing this lough will be on the Ring of Kerry? Might have to leave it for others to complete the puzzle on this one, getting a bit short on time before my weekend trip.

John is on the right track - it is a short distance off the Ring of Kerry, and not too far from Killarney.

Not Currane - that is about as far away from Killarney as it gets on the Ring of Kerry.
Its much closer than that. A clue is the sea on the RHS - note the long very thin arm of land extended out.
