The spot where I'm standing is not remote at all. Much of what you see is privately owned/commercial use.

Yes eggs. A national historic site and now an adventure park, used as a location for film and TV work since the 1960s, possibly most famously for "Jurassic Park" (several other Hawaiian locations were also used for that movie). Also a large private nature reserve and working cattle ranch. We only visited Oahu for a couple of days had lunch there as part of a bus tour around the island.

I shouldn't be cruel and ask for more detail.
We took 6 days over Mt Kenya and this was day 5.

I'll take the win as I had never heard of Mt Kenya- google is my friend indeed.

This one's in Britain. There is something magical about this place - as well as something small, something tall and when it's all said and done- something really quite deep about this location.

At the Inn at Wasdale Head?

PS - I guess we should start filling in your items:
Deep = Wastwater behind you - the deepest lake in England [and we only got to the southern end of it in our travels].
small = St Olaf's Church [thankyou Wikipedia ]
tall = Scaffell Pike - tallest mountain in England rising above the lake.
magical = ?? maybe a litter of winged hounds? and the World's Biggest Liar competition - or maybe Napes Needle?

Not even close Eggs- I reckon I was 400m away from the Inn when I took this!! I was quite possibly near the church, but what's a few meters between friends.

St Olafs Church is so tiny I could have cleaned the gutters from the ground, they are so low.
The magical bit was simply the place- for me it was heaven on a stick.

Over to Eggs yet again.

I do enjoy chasing down visual clues.
Like the line up of the pole, the fence corner and the 2 breaks in the fence line..:)

Initial reaction was one of the falls into Milford Sound - but a quick check on no match. :(
However, a closer look and it might just be Stirling Falls.
Taken from a boat or kayak off the Sound.

Not Stirling, which we also visited, but you are close eggs. Would be too easy without the zoom.

How strange - I had originally written that it could be the unnamed 60m fall upstream from Stirling, just below the Little Matterhorn.
But I changed my answer after another look.
I have a photo with both in it.
Hard to imagine how you could get this angle on it, but just maybe with some zoom...

Sorry eggs, not that close to Stirling. The falls are named.
Possibly a slightly different angle to the classic shot.

Or to give the full title Lady Elizabeth Bowen Falls. I think I may have used my big zoom lens on this shot. Over to you eggs.
