Looks remarkably like the view down the valley after you leave Glendalough in the Wicklow mountains heading uphill. Near an old mine as I recall.

Yeah, that's it, Glendalough. Thanks. I couldn't remember the name and thought that by posting the photo someone would remind of it.

Thanks Orion,
Glendalough is absolutely gorgeous. History, beauty and the Wicklow mountains as a bonus.
I'll stay with Ireland .
Name this prominent hill I was passing by .

Ha yes of course. Random note Conner is a very cool mountain to climb - looks very different from the back........ I've not got any photos handy at the moment so someone else can post if they like. I can post later tonight if no one jumps in

This place should be hard to find, but isn't
Tue 27 Nov, 2018 11:07 am
I'll have a stab. Looks like you are on a boat - walls look similar to that of Milford Sound - pointy thing may be Mitre Peak?
Tue 27 Nov, 2018 12:11 pm
Not on a boat, and not at sea level. But you're not all that far away.
Tue 27 Nov, 2018 1:00 pm
Hidden Lake?

Bet the water was cold though.
Since we are on a NZ theme, here is another. What am I looking towards and from where?
- Looking towards Lake Pukaki from Blue Lakes/Tasman Glacier viewpoint - Aoraki/Mt Cook NP, Canterbury New Zealand
