I have no idea, but no one else is guessing. Let's start with Fjallabaksleið Nyrðri, Iceland?
Only because I like the sound of the name, which I can't pronounce .

That's the name of a road which leads almost to where I am. The name means something like back way to the northern mountains.

At least I picked the right country :). I'm in and out doing Christmas chores and packing for Tasmania, so this might take a few goes - Landmannalaugar?
I'll be out mowing the lawn among other things, will check in later unless someone else gets it.

Thanks Last. Stunning landscapes, Iceland added to my bottomless bucket list.

This one might be a challenge, a Christmas brain teaser for between the festivities.
USA recently, what am I climbing?

Not American Samoa eggs but it is in the Pacific. This one might be a little more obscure than usual.
A corny cryptic clue to try and narrow down the general location - Why did the chicken, or many chickens, cross the road?
We just got in to Hobart yesterday and I’m off on a walk on Kunanyi now, so I’ll check this again later tonight.

To help narrow it down, this is on one of the Hawaiian islands.

The centre of this popular island is roughly 120 miles (not km) from Honolulu. This peak is on its east coast.

Icefest hasn't posted for 5 days. Perhaps Johnw should assume the win and post another pic so the game can move on.
