tas-man again - the old railway line into Montezuma Falls.
I first walked this a number of times in the wet/cold summer of 1979/80.
At that stage it was a series of large ponds and lots of mud.

Mt Marian it is. Mt Weld is only about 40k as the forest raven flies. Good visibility that day, could see PB quite clearly. I thought claim jumping was part of the game.
