I'm on an Abel, with 2 more in the foreground/mid-distance, and 2 others on the horizon that may be recognisable even in this fuzzy photo.

You're right about Central Plateau, but please excuse me while I check on ListMap for exactly where Havelock Falls is/are . . .
. . . ahhh, that one. No, I'm further west and so is that waterfall, for which I cannot find a name. Nothing seems to be mentioned on the topos or on ListMap.
For the record, I went up onto the CP via a track and descended by another but wasn't on one when the photo was taken.

Are we perhaps looking at the Western Creek track area from somewhere around Nells Bluff? Guess that would make it Bastion/Ironstone in the background...?

We are indeed. Nels is gorgeous up top. Well worth the effort and the wandering through the fog.

Lucky guess though - I was at that unnamed waterfall about 2 weeks ago.
