Yep. Either the Abel or its very close neighbour. Both are cairned, and we couldn't tell which bit of rock was higher.

Thanks. Yes, I see that the Abel is 1m higher than Black Bluff. I should have found it.

Yep, about 4 kms for 1m. :roll:

But I love the walk out there. Very worth it on a nice day. A great loop can be made by going one way on the PCT to a spot near the high point, with a visit to Duff Falls if you have time.

Pretty close to spot on - but still down slope from the knoll. Probably around the 850m mark.
I was very impressed with the fagus up there, but the weather was turning questionable so we turned back.
