I haven't been to Picton, but the shape at back appears to be Federation.

The shape at the back is most certainly Fedders, and if you went to Picton with similar conditions, this is what you would see. All yours, eggs.

(ps: You really should do it. The forest on the Steanes Tarn track in particular is superb. The peak itself is also pretty good. Plus, if you're feeling really masochistic, the range circuit is a good solid workout.)

Up near Clumner? Somewhere east of the high point maybe . . . trying to identify that bit of lake - could be Thor?

Yeah, I realise there's zoom, but it's just an issue of lining things up - and I'm dreadful at that. Maybe on Mersey Crag looking over the edge of Wilson? (It's been too long since I was in that area.)

You too huh? I went back late last year as I hadn't had views, gorgeous forecast in Hobart, but of course that means nothing in the SW and I arrived to find it in cloud. Went back 4 days later when it was 30 degrees and slogged up in the heat stubbornly just to get the views. A fantastic little range.

May have posted this one before but it's a goodie.
