At the base of the Du Cane Range high point?

That's Gould on the left, Frenchman's far back right.
I think you are above the Mt Geryon Track, maybe North end of what some call False Geryon.

We were heading back down from the Ducane High Point - nearing the big cairn which marks the drop off the high slopes.
I was not looking for any cairns to Geryon at the time.

Thanks, Eggs. The Geryons are fun.
Sorry about the extreme shrinkage of this one. i don't think it'll matter too much though.

Hmm. Maybe it does matter. This is a different angle on the overwhelmingly famous, and a small pool just off the track where I topped up my water.

Sometimes size does matter.
I'm too sleep-deprived to make anything of it. The ridge reminds of the Eldons but the peak is wrong and the pool doesn't fit at all.

Much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much more popular than the Eldons. People don't usually traverse the ridge in view, but a few locals visit the peak on the right. Avoid the peak on the left during daylight hours if you want to avoid people.

Yes and yes. Soooo close, almost identical angle, but I did mention that this little pool is just off a track...
Edit: Sorry, I missed Last's post first.
