Feels like Black Bluff. I say 'feels like', because I've been up there twice, but have no photos, and only vague memories. But as soon as I saw it, I just had a "Black Bluff" feeling. Then your hint narrowed it down enough to give me a bit more confidence.
The Black Bluff photo was taken from an old vehicle track that goes to the DPA mine site, it lies just to the East of Tiger Plain. The photo was taken from a point 100 or so metres before the fork in the track.
Given the great difficulty in determining which lake is which in the land of a thousand lakes, I am going to run on the assumption that this is from a place where SoB has written recently that he took lots of photos of the island. So - perhaps Lake Lunka?
Correct Eggs. I thought that somebody would put two and two together.
This photo is taken from the point at which I commenced my swim towards the island (closest point). I turned back about a third of the way there as the cold was sending shooting pain up my neck into my head. Maybe I'll try again on a hot summer day instead. I never did cope well with cold.
Ta, eggs. Next one - which peak-bagging point took me out across the water on a lovely winters' day, with less scrub but more charcoal as part of the deal?

It is an interesting coastline along there. We walked north from Trial Harbour for a short distance, but long ago when I was working out that way, I ascended through the steep slopes and found an old gold stamping battery in a creek bed.
Next one has a bit of zoom in it. So a name of a peak in view will do. [But you can hazard as to my whereabouts]
