Thanks Nik, it's a lovely spot. I'll explore beyond it one day.

Neither Ooze nor Paddys. Ooze is closer but still a long way off.

Not at all, Tarn Shelf was all I was looking for :). Not 100% certain which one myself, and some are unnamed.
About halfway along from memory and near the track - possibly James.

Current photo - need to get my thinking cap on. First thought was from Barn Bluff looking at Cradle - which is not correct.

Mt Gould perhaps but not sure where from as I haven’t really been up there much. Maybe from Acropolis somewhere at a guess?

Sorry for the delay, Barrow it is. I've still got plenty left to do up there.

It runs into lake king William (Guelph basin) below Slatters peak.

Just looked familiar with the sediment deposits on either side & the steep slope on the right hand side haha.

Ahhhh. Well, there are similarities. This watercourse does run into a Hydro lake. But it's the other side of the road.

My immediate thought was near the base of Eldon Peak - Lake Burbury
The mountain in view was unfamiliar - checking the List, it is possible it is the northern slopes of Mt Lyell - an angle I have not yet seen it from.

PS - if you want to know about broken games you should check out the Where-Is-It International :)

I reckon you could be right Eggs, although I suspect the photo is at the confluence of the South Eldon and Eldon Rivers, and the peak is probably more in the Tyndalls region.

Eggs is, once again, on the money. This is on the King River (which is what the Eldon rivers become when they join up), about one km upstream from the Burbury shoreline (as it was that summer), looking at the gap between Lyell and the Tyndalls.

The List ESRI view currently shows the lake at that low level - and an old road crosses a small side creek near the top of Lake Burbury, about 2 km south of the confluence.
A bit north of that the King swings east across a small gravel drop which appears to be where this is taken.

Next one might be a little harder

Bubs was Chapman's recommended exit down to the Lyell Hwy, having left the Franklin and passed over Flat Bluff. But it's too scrubby now. Bubs because it resembled a pert bosom.
