I see the French man! From, maybe... Mt Sorell?

Not Sorell. But close....

I had weather like that on Huxley - although it looks more like somewhere on Jukes.

Close enough. It's in the saddle between Darwin and Darwin South.

How many dozen of those are there?

Quite a few true.
But only one that was referenced to the last picture in this thread.....

Ah yes, I did consider that, but couldn't make it fit. Just found a couple of useful pics. The lump at the back on the left is Gould after all, from the west-ish, with one of the lumps of the Guardians squarely in front of it. Which I guess puts you on the said Guardians, north of the summit. Probably near the edge for those lovely views.

That's it.. Mt Gould at the back and the first rise of the Guardians in front.

Good memory, Devo. All yours. (The first 3 times I had no idea it looked like this.)

Thanks Tortoise. Mt Anne was the first real bushwhacked I did when moving to Tassie and I had it on a beautiful blue sky day, I’ll never forget those views!
Unfortunately I have no pics on me at moment so anyone may go...

It's a place fit for a royal.
