I think you are right swifty.
It is a distinctive pillar on the ridgeline above Lake Cygnus. I think it has been up in the comp at least one other time.

Last time I saw that was 1983. Tends to stick in your memory, the very steep descent on the east side. (Little did I know it would only get worse!) Anyway if I am right I don't have any photos to post anyway...

Yep it's Hayes through the "window“ between the crags above Cygnus, one of the few photos I was able to take between #*(&¿<ng atrocious weather spells. Swifty picked the view but Eggs the location, so I guess he has it?

You're in the right area, but I am looking for the name of the tarn at back and the peak in the middle.
Weindorfers Towers are not in view.

So Little Horn with...Flynn's Tarn? Can't work out the pool, and considered Lindon, but I think the cliffs would be wrong for that.

The pool is just a pool. The tarn is Flynns and the peak is the Little Horn. Well done

We got water from a small hole near our camp and spent a fair bit of time in the tarns between The Guardians and Lake Helios.

I'll have to give it to you because that's what I thought when I picked the photo. However, after looking at the order of the pictures it's more likely to be further along, maybe even Hill 4.

My photos strongly suggest Hill 2 - that's the rise above Moores Bridge in the middle distance so it rules out Hills 3 & 4.
The peak at back is Victoria Cross
