Next one
What track was I on?
Mon 30 Apr, 2018 6:00 pm
I reckon you might be heading up to the Eliza plateau there Eggs.
Mon 30 Apr, 2018 6:06 pm
Correct track so over to you. But we stayed at the hut overnight and due to poor weather called it quits and reversed out the next day. So we didn't reach Eliza. Very disappointed that the hut door is disconnected and extremely disappointed in the new toilet that allows all the weather onto the interior and its occupants.

That's a shame about the hut. Hopefully the mountainhuts group will get onto that...
Here's one from a few weeks ago...

Dramatic image. Looks like the Acropolis in the back.

That ridge line on the middle/right looks a lot like going out to Mt Lot
Hard to say where from though, somewhere from the SW, possibly the Lake Judd track before dropping to cross the Anne River?

Pretty well spot on there Geevsey. All yours.

Correct Rick. All yours.

Is that from near or on Nevada peak, looking over the Jubilee range?
Tue 01 May, 2018 6:11 pm
Yep, pretty close. It's from Wetpants Peak!
Tue 01 May, 2018 6:52 pm
Yes, it didn't quite line up with my shot from Nevada. Next.

Coal Hill, looking back at Cuvier?

This is not Coal Hill... but the answer is in there....

So, are you on Mt Cuvier?
Wed 02 May, 2018 3:21 pm
Not exactly John - but it is now a given so over to you.
This is the Cuvier shelf which is on the eastern flanks of Cuvier, and the photo is over the basin in the cliff line with 2 waterfalls into it that is often used for camping

Thanks eggs. Probably undeserving, I just jumped on the clue.

The right line of thinking, but that's not actually where I am.

Could it be Haunted Bay?
Thu 03 May, 2018 6:50 am
Or Sleepy bay?

Wineglass Bay?

Wineglass Bay is correct, on the beach/rocks somewhere near the junction of the lookout and Isthmus tracks.
