Well, I recognise that - which is an easy thing to say - but I think I'm disqualified on the grounds of insider knowledge of your walking schedule.

It was only after I spied Needle Rock - or something very like it that I haven't seen elsewhere - that I realised I may have had relevant info too. Truly Wooly!
So first stab: Ronald Cross?

Haha! You know you're close. Close enough too... a bit past RC.
Your go.

Wasn't exactly sure, because we only saw the inside of a cloud from there.

That's it. Technically Lamonts Lookout, but definitely from Byron Gap.

Like SBS said on a recent pic I was there recently so it looked very familiar
I've camped there a couple of times now, I like it. Far better than putting up with the hordes of Narcissus and the Rats at Echo.
Moving along. Have a feeling i've posted this before but it was a while ago. and it's too early to bother looking for another one

Right on the peaks of course, but not quite right on the where am I.....
Mon 18 Jun, 2018 5:53 am
I think you are on the Eastern Arthurs, perhaps onGeeves Bluff
Mon 18 Jun, 2018 5:55 am
Close enough for a pre 6am guess. Not geeves bluff but from the campsites near hanging lake.
Over to you.

Up early with new dad duties. I thought that foreground was not quite right. I was tossing up between Geeves Bluff and Federation Peak. It was in between. The views from that campsite are some of the best.

I can only think this is a view from the road near Condominium Creek

Right on Eggs. We walked from Lonely Tarns back to Condominium Creek that day. This was taken a couple of metres off the side of the road probably most of the way from Red Tape to Condominium Creek.

Can see Nereus and Macs so....maybe from the Tyndalls?
Mon 18 Jun, 2018 11:29 am
Using Nereus and a map lining up with what is behind will help.
North from Tyndalls
Mon 18 Jun, 2018 11:51 am
Murchison?
Mon 18 Jun, 2018 11:54 am
Keep heading north
