Must have literally pushed the button just ahead of me, I didn't see any other posts until just now.
Anyway pretty confident you can go

Yeah, I don't feel like waiting for Zane to get back.
Hope this one isn't too hard, but it's all I have ready.

no bites? I'll open with Mt Bowes?
Mon 15 Oct, 2018 8:31 am
And you'll close it out too, as Bowes it is. Lovely little walk through some gorgeous forest (amongst other things).

Fanks. Thought it might have been Mt Field, with the 'pavers' and pandani, and the distinctive log matched one of my photos.

Hmmm Alderbaran?

Good opening bid, Pazzar. There was more zoom on it than that, and this peak was much easier to get to than Alderbaran - just an easy, short detour I'd recommend to everyone in good weather [edit:] for those who go far enough, even if they don't continue through with a traverse.

I think the edge of Alderbaran is in the photo - as is High Moor

'Seriously, it's not that hard' was going to be the next clue. Thanks for taking it away, SBS.
A mighty fine place to be on a mighty fine day.

'And why didn't we climb it on the way past?!' I ask myself.
Wait, I remember something about being pummelled in a tent for 36 hours at High Moor. That might have had something to do with it. Oh, and I wasn't collecting Abels at the time. I'll just have to go back for another visit. Them's the breaks.
