Hard to be sure with the OTT saturation, but that rock looks like granite?

I tried uploading a few variants to tone down the HDR effect [It was in-camera HDR], but this is indeed granite.

Which tends to suggest eastern Tassie and near the coast. Doesn't look even slightly familiar, so I'm guessing it's on Flinders?

Yes it is. A bit scared my 2WD might get stuck in there as it was still snowing heavily.
For a South Aussie it was pretty special to be amongst that fresh snow.
