Yes - this was the first level spot going up Jukes. Made for some lovely views.

It's wonderful up there. I would like to explore plateau over a day. Spend a few nights up there.

Another place I'd rather be:

Nope! I haven't been down to the south cape range... yet! :D

Is that at Louisa Bay? My daughter went out to that island and nearly put her hand on a snake.

It is! That magical pirates cave.

Gosh, that wouldn't have been a very good...

This one is a bit different but I'll give it a go. Where was I camping?

One of the many overland track signs? Hmm... It mentions Currawongs getting into your pack, which I wouldn't think would be at one of the designated camp spots. Is this on Pelion Gap?

No, not on the Overland Track. It's on a camping platform.

Previous comments show more frequently visited areas,

I'll guess Cooks Beach campsite??

Edit - no Platforms at Cooks Beach

Could it be a platform at Pine Valley? Depending on if you consider that Overland or not

This is the one. I haven't noticed these signs elsewhere but then I normally avoid populated campsites. The proverb amused me and stuck in my mind.

Very close, Zane, but not quite.

Handley? Most of the Blue Tier peaks tend to be rock slab rather than boulders, from memory.

Got it, nnw. I finally made it to the Blue Tier, for a very enjoyable day.

It's a lovely area, with a great batch of daywalks. Should be better known, really.

edit: Oops, forgot to add a photo. Going to be a bit picky about this one; grid reference not necessary, but it's a specific part of a specific area.

Nice shot.
Labouring on the List suggests the high plateau of the Cheyne Range but North from the high point, nearing the large gully break in that range.

Well, at least I made you work a bit for it. Yep, up towards where the cliffs turn the corner. Back to you, eggs.

Exactly!! Had a delightful time with Cameron, Handley Peak & the real Littlechild, and Scott. And I was more than happy to pay $10 to camp at the delightful Weldborough Pub, with hot showers included. :D I couldn't believe that a fantastic walk like Mt Scott (fungi world in autumn) is so very close to a city, and so very little known.

Yes, the forest on the Scott track is superb. Think my favourite bit of the Blue Tier is the circuit over Michael.

It may look a bit like them, but it isn't anywhere near them. You are, however, on the correct side of the state.
