Badgers Range?
Mon 18 May, 2020 3:28 pm
Correct Badgers Range with a plume of smoke from Railton cement works in view.
Mon 18 May, 2020 3:34 pm
I wondered about the plume. But it was the road and powerline that led me to Badgers.

on the saddle between Mt Ossa and Paddys nut looking at Mt Thetis?
Mon 18 May, 2020 7:42 pm
Roughly correct Last. These ponds are a bit higher than the saddle proper on the Ossa side.

Yes Eggs, I did notice that and should have been more specific. Next

Well, that's Fake Pedder, Scotts on the left, other lumpy bits at the back. I think. But where that puts you . . . presumably somewhere on the Anne circuit.

That'll do - I've got a busy day. It's just near High Camp hut. I reckoned a few people would have a shot like that. Over to you.

Thanks. I was thinking it looked Eliza-ish but not high enough.
How about this?

Companion Range from near Croaking Lake?
Tue 19 May, 2020 12:23 pm
Right NP, but not that remote (see what I did there?).
Tue 19 May, 2020 9:06 pm
Kind of reminds me of Celtic Hill from the Scotts Peak Road
Wed 20 May, 2020 6:58 am
I can see why, but no. Though I did have to drive past that to start this walk.
Quite a few walkers see where this ridge leads, just not this bit of it.
Wed 20 May, 2020 8:22 am
Schnells?
Wed 20 May, 2020 11:36 am
No, keep going SW.
Wed 20 May, 2020 12:42 pm
Is that the end of the Arthur's?
Wed 20 May, 2020 2:16 pm
It is. I should ask you to clarify which end, but I'm pretty sure you know. From the Old Port Davey Track, looking at a couple of the spurs that lead onto the western end of the Western Arthurs.
So Last is next.

Thanks NNW, I only got it form your clue, all those SW hills look the same to me. Next
