Not on either of those mountains but you're in the right area...

That's Sedgwick on the right, isn't it? Just hang on a sec while I work out the angles, although I think you would have to be near The Bastion. Don't recall it looking like that from Geikie or The Chin.
Sun 24 May, 2020 10:08 am
You should get it NNW for mentioning Geikie [trust me]
Sun 24 May, 2020 11:12 am
Only time I got a view from Geikie there was a lot of snow around and it looks very different when everything's white.
Plateau looks different to my shots too. Maybe Last is a lot taller. And a bit further north than the only image I can find from near the summit.
Sun 24 May, 2020 11:54 am
Close enough NNW, it is from Geikie. I am not tall.
Sun 24 May, 2020 12:07 pm
There's more of the ground behind the rock plateau visible, so you have to have been higher than I was.
Different type of view:

Are you heading up Mt. Arthur in that one? Looking N by NW by any chance???????
Sun 24 May, 2020 2:16 pm
Naaaaa.....those hills look too big for anything in that area actually.
Sun 24 May, 2020 2:17 pm
Wrong side of the centre line. Direction of view is a little less inaccurate.
Sun 24 May, 2020 2:21 pm
mmmm, I checked a photo I took from Arthur a few months ago and the paddocks matched pretty well...but the hills, not so much.
I've got a feeling my second thought is actually closer but I'll let others jump in.

Loyetea peak looking over Heka?
Sun 24 May, 2020 2:50 pm
Ain't never heard of Heka, but it is from Loyetea. Even short easy dinky little one-pointers need a bit of love too.
Sun 24 May, 2020 3:08 pm
Heka is in the central part of Gunns Plains, where was I in this photo?

Arm falls?
Sun 24 May, 2020 8:13 pm
This time the one who came second gets the gold. Arm Falls it is. Lovely thing, especially up top.
Sun 24 May, 2020 8:48 pm
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the falls and its namesake river.
Next one, what lake is this?
