Wobbly, close enough. I am at the head of the north branch of the Whiterock Falls creek system, looking south to the Nelse North-SK ridge. I suspect that Warby Corner is towards the left of the pic and SK is out of frame on the right. There's a nice campsite just below the road, with water down about five minutes. All yours.

This is far from remote, quite the opposite, much bustling activity behind me.

Admittedly very limited walking experience in Vic - will be corrected eventually. Probably wrong but this reminds me of the Canyon walk along the Ovens River in Bright.

Sorry Chaps- both wrong.

Geographically Flowerdale is the closest but still some distance away.

Your'e getting there.

Jonnosan- Good to see someone's following the clues..There several Little Rivers in Victoria .This ones starts at a popular 1st campground on a 3 day through walk. you will get it next try for sure.

Wobbly: very reminiscent of Lederderg Gorge indeed, both formed by the same fault line. Due south lies your answer.

Lops- Right Park wrong Gorge.

From all of your clues I think you were at Little River on The Burchell Trail

Thanks Greg.
I haven't got many photos of places that members will recognise so hopefully this one isn't too hard. Name this Victorian waterfall.

Mr Bradbury knows the Brisbane Ranges better than me. What he was doing ice skating there is beyond my understanding. Is the waterfall in the Otways? If so this should be easy - there's only 174 waterfalls there, process of elimination.

Yep. In the Otways. Without looking at my list I think there would be more than 174 falls in that area but we'll stick with that number to make the process of elimination easier.
