One of the Nullabor Caves - Looks like the parking area at Weebubbie, but . . .

Well done, north-north-west, it is indeed Weebubbie Cave, not far from the WA/SA border.

I don't know anything about a "parking area", but my photo was taken in 1985. Here's where I parked:

It's one of the regular cave diving sites over there. There's now a steel post near the edge for people to rig up gear lowering/raising systems. And ladders.

Territory. Name either where I am or the lumpy bit on the left horizon.

I keep trying to convince my wife that we should visit the NT and I'm determined that it will happen eventually.
I think this might be the walk into the "Garden of Eden" at Watarrka/Kings Canyon.

That is it.

Definitely worth the walk. I started well before dawn and it was amazing and peaceful. By 9AM, the tourist buses etc are clogging the area.

I followed brumby pads for much of the ~10km walk along a river valley to this rebuilt hut.

Yes it is crollsurf, nice walk from Dead Horse Gap. I might try the shorter route from Thredbo one day. Over to you.

The shorter route from Friday Flats would be hard work indeed. Thinking Mowamba to Teddy's could be nice also.
