Total guesswork on this one. Maybe Ben Bullen SF and possibly the Temple of Doom?

Not the Temple of Doom but that's it johnw, Ben Bullen SF. Lots of dirt bike tracks to follow and most lead to interesting places but trying to put a name to them isn't easy. The place in question has a parking area and a track. Also one of the few places left to take the dog for a walk that isn't boring.

I haven't been out that way for years, maybe once the current crisis is over we can resume normal programming.

NSW, name the mountain I'm on and the one in the middle distance:

Yes that's them. Mt Gibraltar is an interesting short walk that I've done a couple of times now.
Some further ranging options into the Nattai starting at Mt Alexandra/Lake Alexandra.
Township of Mittagong in between; start/finish of the Mittagong/Katoomba multi-day hike.

Thanks, another one to do again. Good to walk along the river to Bungonia as well.

I promised to find another non NSW shot. An easy one from QLD - what am I looking at behind the train?

Yes Greg. Quite a sight as the train passes the falls via a bridge next to and over them as they cascade further down.
That's two in a row, you just need to bag the Tassie game now for a hat trick.

I'll guess the Snowy (again!)
And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended,
And at night the wondrous glory of the everlasting stars.
