Pretty, but became an awkward scrub fest after the old weir so we turned back due to lack of time.

Thanks John. Ive walked it a few times and it is frustratingly scrubby. You will be in luck soon. I believe that’s where they are putting part of the new “iconic” track in.

Sticking with NSW - rough location will do.

Yep, downstream a bit from the main cascades area, and maybe an hour's walk from the previous post.

I have no idea what the overhang is called but I’m almost certain it is west of Asgard swamp and southeast of Ikara head?

Edit - Girraween cave?

Thanks. I only get out to the Blue Mountains a few times a year and that area would have to be one of my favourites.

Still in NSW.

Is it in that area i.e. Blue Breaks, Bull Island, Gander Head etc?

Same NP but not in that area. A cryptic clue: you go under citrus to get to the point.

OK, so we can narrow it down to Blue Mountains NP. Cryptic clue hasn't clicked yet; the only thing that came up is Orange Bluff but that's in Kanangra.
It looks somehow familiar but I can't place it. Are you somewhere in the Grose Valley?

Doh! So do I now. I reckon you've got it, just googled a similar image.
Ironically I thought of Sublime Point yesterday then dismissed it .
