Almost..
Yes i was away walking for the long weekend but i left early on Saturday which is why i was still around to post a guess at the location on Friday evening.

Correct, I don't know if many would see this view of it. We took an off track excursion from the Marley trail along part of the lagoon then through the dunes to the coast track (sadly now a metal highway :().

Looks lovely, another area on my bucket list. I haven't been there (I did pass through Renmark once a long time ago) but my research tells me it's the Murray River from Heading's Cliff Lookout, Murtho Forest Reserve near Paringa.

It certainly is John. On a very cold June morning, the mist on the river as the sun came up was almost as spectacular.

Over to you.

This is a NP. I climbed the peak in the middle on a circuit walk that nominally takes about 2.5 hours.

Correct eggs. The peak is unnamed as far as I'm aware. It is simply referred to as "the summit", and has great views.
