Anything outside of Kosciuszko NP or Namadgi NP and I wouldn’t have a clue :) I spend way too much time out there.

Thanks GBW. I keep driving past that turnoff without realising the hut is a short distance away.

Is that Rams Head North from Lake Cootapatamba? I'm guessing shot with a decent telephoto lens

Not Cootapatamba, different body of water but you're in the right vicinity. It is quite a long telephoto shot.

From one of the ponds in the Snowy River/ Merrits Creek area behind Thredbo maybe?

Yes crollsurf, on the Snowy River a fair way upstream from the old Kosci Road.

Very dramatic photo of Rams Head North
Name the creek I am looking over. Extra points if you can name the track that ends at this Cairn
EDIT: Track doesn't have a name on the Topo map so maybe where the track starts and where it heads, or even better, it's unofficial name would be great

Assuming this is NSW, I'm going to say Twynam creek from the Illawong track/walk?

100% correct Zapruda. I double checked the topo map and it doesn't show it! Interested if anyone knows the name of the track because up to that Cairn, it is well defined.

The official track ends at Illawong bridge but a well worn foot pad gets you to pounds creek flats, as you know. No official name as far as I know. I have always called it the Illawong footpad... The track takes us through a great example of what our subalpine environment has to offer.

ACT for a change - Name the peak

Right headland but it's a "little" bit further south than that
