That's so sad. Is that the long ridge that goes down to the Kedumba-Jamison junction? I remember it as a lush green area, with some fantastically lovely forest... Particularly, there was a beautiful paperbark ringed campsite, which I guess is a charcoal wasteland now ).;

Dont get me started.. I was walking along federal pass between Leura and Katoomba a couple of week ago and NPWS had decided to have another go at a bit of unburnt bush below solitary.

Yes that's it Tyreless. I am taking my son for an overnighter there in 3 weeks so would be interested in an ipdate on water at mobbs if you are going that way. Was completely bone dry this ANZAC day.

I recognised the bridge, which is still there above Leura Cascades. But the rest took a little research.
I believe this may be Katoomba Swimming Baths around 1920. Love the outfits.
