That's the one, eggs. Not a bad little sidetrip from the AAWT. Correction - two little sidetrips from the AAWT.

Looks good.

The name of the small range I was on last week? [In SA]

Close. The Chace Range was some distance behind me in this view.
The Heysen Trail is in the valley below.

Maybe The Wide Range, at the southern end of the Red Range.

That will do - I was after the Red Range - just above the Red Range campsite - sunrise on the Elder Range / Mt Aleck

Red Range was my first guess, with that wonderful view of the Elder Range at sunrise. But your reference to a "small range" prompted me to check the map, where I saw a quite small but nevertheless, a named range at the end of Red Range that I'd not noticed before. (Having now seen it vicariously, I reckon I oughta get there for real sometime. And maybe try to understand why it might be called The Wide Range. And why the "The"?)

Continuing in SA, where is this taken from, and what features in the distance can you name? European names will suffice, because for obvious reasons it is taking quite a while for those to be supplanted by indigenous names in current texts. Cf. my first paragraph!

The peak from which the picture was taken has a 360 degree view, but too far away from St Mary for that to be seen. It's rather closer to Cleft Peak, but also has no view of it. So clue three follows.

I've just had an enjoyable dinnertime, hope you have too.

Surely you are at Arkaroola, and perhaps hinting for the Armchair?

Yes, the view includes The Armchair. Also out there are Mt Gee and Dinnertime Hill. Not forgetting Mt Painter, the Freeling Heights, etc. Photograph taken not in the Arkaroola sanctuary, but very close by in the adjacent Vulkathunha - Gammon Ranges NP at Mt Warren-Hastings. All yours, eggs.

No, my research just stumbled into efficiency eggs. My only WA trip so far was 43 years ago and unfortunately didn't visit Rottnest.

Clue time - this is probably the 5th time this peak has been featured.
The view is the route up/down - through this cliff line.
