GregG wrote:OK John, you are correct it is the Kedumba Valley with the eponymous Walls in the background, specifically the Lions Head to the right of the cliff line. I was down there last time in May 2019 looking at the restoration work on Maxwells Hut/House. The whole area was very dry at that time and I was pretty worried in January that the hut would be lost but it miraculously survived, it would have been an RFS/ NPWS sort of miracle I guess. Its only a thirty min drive and two hour walk away and I want to go back there as soon as the restrictions are lifted, there's some good exploring to be had up and down the valley, eg old airstrip, and it is worthwhile to spend a bit of time there. I tend to see a lot of walkers head down/*&%$#! up making speed to their their next way point(Solitary or Bodington) without bothering to check-out Kedumba.
The ball is back to you John.
