An easy one then, from south of the border, in Vic-tor-re-i-ya:

You're thinking I'm a Nong for believing this is easy. The walk sure is easy. About 15 km on a circuit of this body of water. Easy to get to, as well. Just on the outskirts of suburbia. With a fine and Dandy view of a range that's also on the outskirts of suburbia.

Crollsurf, that's a great guess. The view to the south from this point on the circumferential walking track has the Dandenong Ranges National Park (so, yes, my shot does observe the rules of the game) on the horizon. The antennae on Mt Dandenong can be seen, just right of centre. (Fitting really -- most of the content emanating from those towers probably tends towards the right of centre.)

Thanks peregrinator, unfortunately I have used up all my Vic photos (which were a few at best) so here is one from NSW, around the corner from my place.

Was looking in the wrong place. I haven't actually visited this one but likely have driven past - Upper Gledhill Falls, Ku-Ring-Gai Chase NP?

That's it Tyreless. Done as an overnighter from Newnes many years ago. Fascinating location.
Unfortunately no longer possible to enter Glen Davis from that track (legally) due to land ownership issues.

That's closer - a bit further south.

(This isn't a clue, but it's a great photo, coincidentally taken by a fella whose name is Bell)

That'll do. I'm pointing over to Jinki Ridge, but I am standing on the eastern side of Dalpura Creek / canyon.

Thanks, I haven't been to that spot and was undecided between them.

Thanks johnw. I jumped that gap once, but nowadays I'm too old for unnecessary risktaking. It's an easy jump, but the consequences...

Anyway, this one is in NSW:

Yes, my own advancing age and sense of self-preservation keeps me admiring the feature from this side of the gap...

I haven't done any significant canyoning, so I cheated and asked my son, who has explored a lot of canyons.
He thinks this is one of the abseils in Juggler. My further research suggests that may be correct.

Thanks ribuck, if only I'd paid attention during the French classes in high school

This one is from VIC. I know where I was but can probably only identify half of what I'm looking at.

I would think Bogong is on the LHS and a mix of Mt Arthur-Grey Hills with Timms Spur behind on the middle-RHS.
Given that I can just make out water below [Lake Catani?] perhaps you are off track on boulders south of the Monolith?
