Thanks Lophophaps
Here is another alpine Victorian hut. Given its collapsing condition when I was last there back in 2009 it may no longer be standing. Much like myself.

After a casual peruse of the KHA website, I am going to guess Dunsmuir Hut "Located at McFarlanes Saddle, beside the Moroka Road, on the way to Lake Tarli Karn. Shown on the Rooftop map "Dargo Wonnangatta" at GR 4860 58510."

That was quick. Yes its Dunsmuir, although KHA seem to be out with their description of the location. Its actually about 2 kms south of Moroka Road/McFarlanes Saddle and you can't drive to it- not legally at least.
Over to you Jonnosan.

Woot! And after a couple of embarrassing bogeys.

NSW again. Name of the waterbody / watercourse will suffice.

That's it. About 1.5km WNW of Tarn Bluff. I walked up Mt Jagungal later that day.

I should have added that it is in the greater Blue Mountains area

Bob Turner's Track (not much idea, really, but I like jonnosan's "have a go" spirit, and prepared to be shot down in flames).

Sorry Tyreless, not Bob Turners. This is not near the Colo, head further south. It is near another well known river.

First thought was Kowmung country somewhere, but I can't place it.

Could be one of the spurs/buttresses heading down to Coxs River but I can't place that either. Will say Ironmonger as a (very) wild guess.

Not Ironmonger - too far southwest. Unless descending into the trackless gorge in front of me this is not very remote, and is popular as a day walk. Not everyone climbs this rocky pad from the lookout to the obscure trig somewhere up behind me on this named "peak".

Thanks John. I approached the trig from the untracked valley below having walked out on Kariwoga Ridge.

Next one, still NSW (sorry, I only have limited photos at my office)...

I thought it actually looked a little like Victoria Falls (in a dry spell) - inside the overhang part on the lower portion of the falls...... (maybe wrong here as I've never actually been inside the overhang)

Not Yarrangobilly Caves or Victoria Falls. It's a named feature, usually approached via the track from above, not the way I came. I visited here on the same longish walk as when I last visited jonnosan's last photo.

I've done the Wollangambe Crater overnighter but didn't detour to this. I think it might be Dargan Arch?

Since no-one else seems willing to open the bidding, I will.

I know I have seen Xanthorrhoeas like that but can't for the life of me remember where, so ummm.... Great North Walk, somewhere between Brooklyn and Jerusalem Bay?
