No, but that side of the state. It's a very well known river, at least by bushwalkers. This part does not see much visits, quite rugged.

OK, hint time.

Hint 1: Needs a womans touch obviously.

Hint 2: very similar name to 2 very prominent Forum members -only one letter different in each case.

Hint 3: There is no hint 3. The other 2 hints give it away.

Sorry Neil that aint it,

As for the 2 prominent members, well lets just say one very prominent member from down south with a fine sense of direction in her name and one lesser mortal (ie: male) from Victoria who has walked a fair bit of the AAWT. This hut is not far from the aforementioned track.

Not that easy to find, and certainly nobody with a broom or sense of house-proud has been there lately.

I try.

NBW hut and clearly the "No Bloo%y Women" has been taken just a tad too seriously- it's a pigsty inside.

Quite lovely with the snow around the outside though.

Go GBW

I was almost going to nominate that location but couldn't quite pick if it was Baw Baw summit on the other side.

This one is Victoria and should be really easy.

Oops, for a proper bingo I should have checked the spelling of the Jaitmathingos.

Next, what peak am I about to climb in South Australia?

Eggs, you're getting much closer. This distinctively shaped peak can be seen from Mt Warren Hastings.

Well - the only notable flat topped peak I know out that way is Mt Chambers - but this looks like it would be in the gullies to the south.
Is that the approach you used to climb it?
I was of the understanding that from the car park you would scramble through the cliff line?

Yes, eggs, it is indeed Mt Chambers. I went south-ish skirting West Chambers Creek (starting about two kilometres west of the car park at the end of the road), then went east-ish up onto the ridge before a scary-ish bit up to the top.
