Yes, camping in the saddle just above it. Another of my favourite places.

The whole area out there is amazing. Gets very few visitors and the scrub is completely manageable. The walk up to Paddy Rushs Bogong is one of my favourites as is the walk up the Chimneys.

Still in NSW but not alpine. Where am I standing?

Thanks Zapruda, I've been through there numerous times though my mental images are mainly from higher up looking at Anton etc.

NSW again, sorry, we seem to be dominating the game at present. I'll try and find something else next time.

That's it Tyreless. According to one source I read this is the wreck of the Windybank/s Ferry, which sunk at its moorings mid 20th century. Interesting relic to encounter on a bushwalk.

Probably wrong, but something reminds me of the views from the end of Browns Ridge off the Paterson Range trail.

That probably means I need to head south-ish to one of those long ridges north of the GWH. I think I can rule out Faulconbridge Ridge/Point as it doesn't look like that. If I'm right that leaves Lawson, Dawes or Linden Ridges to choose from... Haven't been along those for years :?.

Yes, looks like I broke the game....

I'm well south of Bell's Line and very close to the Grose River. ESE of the end of Browns Ridge.
