I was going to say that it looks like the northern approach to King Billy 1 from the junction, but then you say it's off the AAWT.

Too far south NNW, this Point is NNW of King Billy No.1 but nothing to do with Helicopters.

I'm thinking this spot might not be as well noted as I thought.
It is indeed on the north approach to King Billy no.1 (NNW) and it is also in the direction of Helicopter Spur (Lops).
It is close to Picture Point not noted on all maps and doesn't seem to Google very well.
The coin is tossed so the first nearest NNW has the ball.

A lot of people wander along that cliff edge (done it twice, much more pleasant than the road walk), but one needs eggs' eye for topography to get the position right. Thanks.

Staying in Victoria, but a nice easy one.

Thanks. I remember that stupid place. Cross a river or creek, up the hill, down the same hill and cross a creek or river. Why not contour around the hill in the background to the river crossing? Half the distance and no climbing. Next time ... The pic below is in Victoria. It's best not to slip.
