John was correct with the Kedumba area. Not Solitary but another well known landmark.

Thanks Luc-Porter

Which QLD summit did I have to myself until eventually being engulfed by cloud:

I'm definitely at the pointy end of a fairly strenuous climb

Cloud makes it hard but lets start trying to narrow it down. Is it Mt Beerwah? Background doesn't look right but it is a hard walk and pointy

Or I'll take your 'pointy end' bait and guess Walsh Pyramid (although I have never been so can't confirm)

...which has paid off MM, correct. Claimed to be the tallest free standing natural pyramid in the world at 922m ASL. It had been on my radar for a number of years and we were in Cairns for a short break in June, so I decided to finally tackle the relentlessly steep ~sea level to summit climb. Mentally prepared for that I really enjoyed it and had great views pre-cloud. Needs reasonable fitness, and take plenty of water.

It had to be c.1800m, and your cute clue nailed it.

But it's all someone else's, in fact, because I'm going bush tomorrow.

If no one else volunteers, maybe back to you GBW?

My problem is that I think I have the Nobs & High Cone, the Bluff and Mt Buller in view - but I think that pushes me off the map I have of the Alpine NP.

Maybe the Butcher Country track?

You've named the mountains correctly eggs but I wasn't on Butcher Country Track...and I wasn't wearing a dress.

In SA
There are 2 named peaks - looking for at least 1 correct.
And bonus for where I am standing.

Mt McKinlay Bluff (and rock slide) on the left, background. Red Hill, ditto midground. Cleft Peak in there somewhere centralish, background. So I assume you are in the vicinity of Gibber Plain.

It's an inspirational location, eggs. I have lost count of how many photographs I've taken from around there.

Next is one from Victoria, taken from a National Park next to farmland, with the top of the range in another National Park in the distance. What are the names of the two parks? Apologies for the blurry nature of the zoom from a basic camera.
