OK. No more takers then. To keep thing moving it was the Oatley Castle in Oatley Park. A great spot to take the kids for a picnic and a bit of nature in southern Sydney.
Any one can jump in.

That would be the statue at Blackheath of the (100% historical and not at all made up for the purpose of entertaining tourists) bushranger named Govett, causing his horse to leap of a cliff rather than be captured by the police.

Sure is Tyreless, your go
Mon 09 Dec, 2019 10:48 am
I was going to walk at West Head yesterday but when I got there it was closed due to potential for bushfires (other than the lookout at the end and Resolute Bay).
Still in NSW, with bushfires visible on the horizon....

The peak on the right looks a lot like Mt Mouin, possibly from Glenraphael head?

That's correct, with Debert Knob on the left. Taken the Sunday before last with the Kanangra Walls and Yerranderie bushfires in the distance.

In the interest of reintroducing some regional variation - can someone post something from a Territory please?

This is not exactly an obscure place. Surely someone else has been here. Northern Territory. Northern Northern Territory.
