155 views and only one guess. I thought this would go quickly, we'd be back on track and the good oil would be flowing.

Thanks johnw. I tried walking around that way once from Glen Davis but hit private property with very clear signs not to enter. I'll try from the Newnes side next time.
Again in NSW but a fair way South from Newnes. Name that hut.

You got it! I stupidly took the long way to the top and the scrub was thick and the going was slow... Great views though.

Isn't the track there any more? Used to be an easy walk from the campsite near the junction. Long way down was over Half Moon to the big horse camp, but not that scrubby as long as you judged it right.

The track still exists. I used it on the descent. Still in good condition.

I went along the Gurrangorambla Range from Oldfields for something a little different on the ascent. Pick up sticks the whole way...

Have walked past the northern end of Lone Pine at Oldfields a couple of times and made a note to head down there one day, but haven't got there yet.

NSW again:

I've done it the other way around - seven or eight years ago now. Wasn't too bad then, except the effing horseflies.

Yes. Du Faur Head.

Apologies, I did say "what am I looking towards". Which is Evans Lookout, which is part of Blackheath. So I should have given it to you earlier. Sorry. Over to you.

Yes, you're a hard man Michael - just kidding :). My memory was hazy, I've been into the valley dozens of times and that general locality frequently, but only descended/climbed Du Faur/Shortridge pass once.

I found one from QLD, let's try that. Bonus point if you can work out where I am:

This peak(s?) has a very unique and distinctive profile when viewed from a different angle.
