Yep, probably a bit tricky. I'm a few minutes walk from Rams Head North, but using a long zoom.
Other shots I have from the top of RHN it's a fair way off and everything around is visible. Over to you.

I guessed you were near RHN and dismissed Etheridge. Never walked out onto Etheridge so next time it will be compulsory.
I'm out the door tomorrow morning for a week, so anyone else want a go?

Yes It's worth going up there. Years ago we climbed the "Unnamed peak on Etheridge Ridge", ranked number 5 in elevation.
Amusingly, you also get a birds eye view of the ant trails milling around Rawson Pass below, and going up Kosci.

Thanks crollsurf, I'll have a go with one from Victoria. Name the creek.

Keithj, that's correct. Milanesia Creek, into which Running Creek runs. The former was running very slowly; don't know about the latter. A sand-bar blocked Milanesia from the sea, hence the volume of water at the beach. The location is on the Greatish Ocean Walk, Great Otway NP.

I think I can make out a HV tower in the middle distance, maybe looking south from somewhere below Solitary to Hayes Crossing?

This one is not in the Blueys as such, but I have a good view of them in the distance.
You could possibly find a direct line of sight to where I'm standing from up on Solitary.
But not with the naked eye, and there's a lot of bush etc in between.

Are you somewhere up around the headwaters of the Nattai, looking from Bowral/Mittagong down the guts of the valley?

That's good enough dingo, I'm looking down the Nattai valley from the lookout at the end of the Box Vale track, near the skip incline. All yours.

Actually what am I looking at will do, too.
