I see that Last Post in all three threads reads eggs, eggs, eggs. Is that a record? Perhaps not, because eggs and several others here sure get around more than most.
C. Warren Bonython, in
Walking the Flinders Ranges, writes of
at least four “Mount Haywards”. There is Hayward Bluff, often erroneously called “Mount” Hayward, along with “South Mount Hayward” and the peak he names “False Mount Hayward”. Things can go haywire up there for climbers who have been easily misled, as Bonython says each peak
is not distinctive or prominent.
This marker looks like it might collapse eventually but was extant this January, so I’ll post this while I guess it’s still in place. What distinctive and prominent summit is it at in Victoria? (There are other such peaks in the background, so this will be easy.)
