Yep. Nice work.

Woolpack Gap/Rock is just to the east of where Im standing. Its tricky because the topo map shows an unbroken cliffline when in fact there is a large gap and its lined by cliffs. Sat photo tells the true story. Made for some serious route finding to get down to red rock creek and back up again. :P

Over to you jonnosan.

Strictly speaking, you'd be travelling NNE to get here from Woolpack Gap, not due North

Is this is in reference to my pic location? Woolpack Gap is definitely East of the pic location. (if anything, it’s a bit south east.) The land falls away so the cliff line as indicated on the Topo is not where the photo is taken. Photo is taken inland of the cliff line.

Ooops... Wrong page

And even worse, I was wrong about where Wildwanderer's photo was from anyway.

no that was my attempt at giving a hint about where my pic was (The Cougals is just near Tweed Heads, so NNE of the Blue Mountains).

Right view, wrong track, although this does eventually meet up with the Daves Creek circuit.

Memory diminishes with time :(. Might be another one I did there - Ships Stern circuit, Gorooburra lookout?

Not at all. There is a very similar view point from the Dave's Creek track (I was only looking at those photos last night too). Ships stern is correct. Over to you :-)

OK I managed to get one from my phone. Staying with QLD, what did I finally get around to climbing last year?

There would be number of peaks up FNQ that look similar. I'll guess the well known Walsh's Pyramid

That's the one crollsurf. A relentless but worthwhile climb.

Looks like the lovely Millaa Millaa Falls on the Atherton tableland. One of three or four falls along the same road from memory.

Too easy Zapruda. I've found it a nice place to sit and have lunch while enjoying the expansive views (in good weather).

Thanks John. Its a fantastic spot. Often skipped for its big brother instead.

This should be an easy one. On what mountain am I standing in NSW?
