Thanks GBW. For some reason my own photos of it all seem to be from different angles, which made me uncertain.

Easy one, still in NSW:

My topo map calls it the Round Mountain Trail, not the Hell Hole Trail. But the answer is good enough for me. Over to you Lophophaps.

Tyreless, you are right. GM FT goes NE to O'Keefes and RM FT goes north to - surprise! - Round Mountain. I don't look at the map much near there. This is in Victoria.

Now I have an earworm song in my head. To my amazement there appears to be a number of Elephant Rocks:
http://www.chockstone.org/MtBeckworth/MtBeckworth.htm
https://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/wilsons-promontory/area/11766487

I also found something called Up The Elephant's Rear but we won't go there...

I remember when rock was young,
Me and Suzie had so much fun,
Holding hands and skimming stones,
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own.
But the biggest kick I ever got,
Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock.
While the other kids were Rocking Round the Clock,
We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock.

Does that help?

I wanted to go on the stage,
And now my ambitions I've got 'em.
In my grey pantaloons I'm the rage,
As the hole in the elephant's bottom.

It's The Prom. I'm unsure of the name of the rock, but I think it's in the southern section, towards the lighthouse.

Cryptic? Moi? Surely not. My legal background means that I deny everything, I was not there, the sheep can't talk. As I cannot recall any more details than The Prom southern section, Neil is next. Do try to be clear about things. Luckily, a lack of clarity is not transferrable by reading posts.

Thanks Neil,

The previous pic of the granite rocks id from the final walk up to the Prom Lighthouse- I was too slow to win that one. I know Norman Island well- I had a close encounter with a White pointer out there in 1981.

This next one should be easy. Its in Victoria . Day walk area close to Melbourne.

I haven't been there but research suggests the wire mesh bridge on the Pyrete Range, Lerderderg State Park. Possibly WW2 vintage.

Thank you Greg, I saw some references to the past mining activity.

Now that's a lovely angle, and a really moody image. Looks like the Ramsheads, but not sure which trig we're looking at.
