Jimjim, it's not Radium Creek, which would be the one you're thinking of. North-north-west, it is indeed Chambers Gorge.
The rock does have a name, and I assumed that because this gorge is visited fairly often, the name might be reasonably well known. Incorrect assumption. I read about it in an excellent book, Field Guide to Chambers Gorge, Flinders Ranges, by Graham C Medlin. It was published in 1983 and is long out of print, but several libraries have it (I read it in the State Library of Victoria). I've now found only two other on-line references to the rock: a 1982 Kenneth Jack drawing and a 1937 photograph by anthropologist, Charles Mountford.
The name of the rock feature is variously Windsor Pillar or Windsor's Pillar. So in the circumstances, north-north-west clearly wins the non-existent prize.
