Here I was thinking this would be a bit difficult... and Zapruda has got it correct after 37 minutes. It's Corang River - I arrived via a scrubby off-track route up the river but this spot can be accessed more easily from the Corang Loop track.

Ah, the interesting "Major" Clews, should have got that one.
Fascinating man, I have a book on the Snowy Hydro history in which he features a fair bit.
